Advancing the human side of leadership

Jessica Wilen, Ph.D., ACC, has spent over 15 years helping to make organizations more human-centered.

As a former psychotherapist, Jessica combines a sophisticated understanding of human behavior and motivation with practical leadership experience as a higher education administrator and organizational development consultant. She balances rigorous evidence-based strategies with genuine warmth and authenticity to provide services that are both insight-oriented and results-driven. Her psychological training allows her to dive deep to get to the root of the issue, ensuring real, meaningful, and sustained development and growth.

In addition to her coaching work, Jessica is an assistant professor at Yale University in the Child Study Center. She previously served as the Assistant Dean of Students at Washington University in St. Louis and the Director of Professional Standards at Yale School of Medicine, providing in-house organizational development and leadership consulting. She has created and taught numerous graduate-level courses at top universities, and understands how to engage adults in meaningful learning.

Jessica holds a BA and MSW from Washington University in St. Louis and a Ph.D. from Bryn Mawr College. She holds specialized postgraduate certificates in executive coaching, mediation/conflict resolution, cognitive behavioral therapy, and the treatment of complex trauma.  She lives in southern Connecticut with her husband and two children.
