The coaching process

Leadership coaching is a collaborative, inquiry-driven, and results-oriented approach to professional and personal growth. Through this process, the coach and client work together to develop new insights, refine skills, and adopt behaviors that enhance performance, leadership effectiveness, and overall fulfillment.

Clients can engage me directly, or organizations can sponsor coaching for their employees. In the latter case, the sponsoring organization may provide input on coaching objectives, but all session content remains strictly confidential.

Every coaching engagement begins with a leadership assessment to identify strengths and growth areas, which serves as the foundation for a tailored development plan. Coaching sessions are one hour long and occur biweekly over the course of several months.

Each session is client-driven—you set the agenda based on your most pressing challenges and goals. Throughout our work together, I will serve as a sounding board, strategic thought partner, and accountability guide, adapting my role to meet your needs. Between sessions, I provide targeted tools, resources, and exercises to reinforce your growth. At the conclusion of the engagement, we will collaborate on a sustainability plan to ensure continued progress beyond coaching.
